Mum Wars Red Carpet Premiere: Free Admission

Join us at The Switch for the exclusive Red Carpet Premiere of Mum Wars, a brand-new competition series created by Leatha Sims that shines a spotlight on the incredible artistry and creativity of the Texas homecoming mum community. Several contestants featured in Mum Wars will be in attendance, including Hempstead resident Connie Wawarofsky.

Meet some of the talented designers who helped bring the series to life.

The evening begins at 6:30 PM with red carpet arrivals, photo opportunities, and interviews, giving guests the chance to experience the excitement of a true premiere night. Then at 7:30 PM, be among the first to watch the pilot episode on the big screen.

Mum Wars celebrates the imagination, craftsmanship, teamwork, and friendships that have made the Texas homecoming mum industry unlike any other. Whether you're a mum designer, a supporter of the community, or simply curious about this unique Texas tradition, this is your chance to witness the beginning of an exciting new series and celebrate the talented creators behind these incredible works of art.

Please note: A portion of the street directly in front of The Switch will be temporarily closed from 5:00 pm - 9:30 pm for the red carpet and event tents. Parking is still available nearby, with handicap parking remaining accessible, and pedestrian access to the theatre will remain open.
